Testing Requirements
High Yellow to Green Belt:
- Be able to perform all previous requirements well.
- Be able to perform: Twist Kick and Spinning Crescent Kick.
- Be able to perform: A right and left Hook & Cross, vertical and horizontal Spear Hand (finger thrust) Strike and Spinning Backfist.
- Be able to perform: slip to the left and slip to the right, slide to the right and slide to the left.
- Be able to perform: correct X-Stance.
- Perform Do-San Pattern.
- Perform Self-Defense #1 through #10 from both sides.
- Release from cross wrist grab.
- Two rounds of contact sparing.
- Perform 25 clean push-ups below age 40.
Perform 20 clean push-ups above age 40.
- Breaking one board with a Palm Strike (If you failed your breaking requirement from last testing, you must break with your previous breaking requirement in addition to your present one).
- Must have been a high Yellow Belt rank for at least 4 months and an active student attending classes weekly.
