Testing Requirements

White to Yellow Belt:

  1. Know and understand the five tenets.
  2. Be able to perform: Front Kick, Crescent Kick, Ax Kick, Roundhouse Kick, Side Kick and Knee Strike.
  3. Be able to perform: Jab, Back Fist, Hammer Fist, Reverse Punch, Knife Hand, Palm Strike, Reverse Knife Strike, Lunge Punch.
  4. Be able to perform: Push Block, Outside Block, Low Block, Middle Block, High Block.
  5. Be able to perform: Ready Stance, Horse Stance, Fighting Stance, Power Stance, L-Stance, Parallel Stance.
  6. Perform Chun-Ji Hyung Pattern.
  7. Perform Self-Defense #1 through #5 from both sides.
  8. Release from wrist grab.
  9. Two rounds of no-contact sparing.
  10. Perform 15 clean push-ups below age 40. Perform 10 clean push-ups above age 40.
