Testing Requirements
Yellow to High Yellow Belt:
- Be able to perform all previous requirements well.
- Be able to perform: Hook Kick, Stepping Side Kick and Spinning Side Kick.
- Be able to perform: Elbow Strikes (vertical, horizontal, reverse), Upper Cut, Vertical Punch, Spin Backfist, Spin Hammer, Spin Knife.
- Be able to perform: Knife Hand Block, Inside Block, Scooping Block, Hooking Low Block, and X-Block (high & low).
- Be able to perform: Cat Stance.
- Perform Dan-Gun Pattern.
- Perform Self-Defense #1 through #10 from both sides.
- Release from arm grab.
- Two rounds of contact sparing.
- Perform 20 clean push-ups below age 40.
Perform 15 clean push-ups above age 40.
- Breaking one board with a Side Kick.
- Must have been an active Yellow Belt for at least 4 months.
